Adoption UK Wales has published a report which reveals that much more needs to be done to support adopters in Wales.
This report explores key issues relating to adoption support. It specifically focuses on support after the Adoption Order is made by the court.
The report find that whilst adoptive families have particular needs in respect of educational and therapeutic services, these are not consistently available and that much needs to be done to improve accessibility, knowledge, processes and resources available to support these families.
