The National Assembly for Wales’ Health, Wellbeing and Local Government Committee has published the report of its inquiry into wheelchair services in Wales.
The Committee found that there were problems in many areas, especially around long waiting times, particularly for users with complex needs, including children.
The 23 recommendations made in the report included that the Welsh Government should draw up a strategic plan to give direction to the service, and that regular reviews for users are delivered, particularly for children.
The report is available to download from the National Assembly for Wales’ website.
