The Welsh Assembly Government is consulting on proposed changes arising from the recommendations made to Welsh Ministers by the Adult Placement Task and Finish Group.
Following an incident in which the children of an adult placement carer were abused by a person who had been placed with them, the Deputy Minister set up the Adult Placement Task and Finish Group. They were to consider and report on whether to amend the Care Standards Act 2004 Adult Placement Regulatory and National Minimum Standards regime. The Group’s recommended changes are now subject to consultation
