Services provided
CHiP Service – (Children’s Inclusion Project)This service is an early intervention service for children who are at risk of offending behaviour. It aims to identify children aged 8 - 12 years of age and ensure that they get the appropriate service from health social care or education services. There is also a mentoring scheme for children aged 8 - 18 years.
Family Involvement Service There are two arms to this work. Firstly, A Parent network that seeks to ensure that parents and carers are fully involved in the decision making processes in services within Neath Port Talbot. Secondly, a Family Group Meeting Service that aims to co-ordinate meetings for families who need to reach a decision about their children's welfare.
Parenting ServiceThis service provides help for parents who are struggling with their children's behaviour. We run parenting groups and a home visiting service for parents whose children are aged 4 - 18.
