A voluntary membership organisation providing support and information to separated parents and carers of either gender who are experiencing difficulties with child residence or contact issues.

Our service provides volunteer support through our network of branches- currently meeting in Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham – and the sharing of help and advice with our members, who have experience of dealing with the complex issues involved in reaching agreements over the care and maintenance of children.

We also run courses to support Litigants in Person in handling cases in the Family Courts. Some of our members also provide one to one advice in the role of McKenzie Friends assisting Litigants in Person to prepare and conduct their cases in the Family Courts.

We run a UK national helpline weekday evenings from 6pm to 10pm on 0300 0300 363 and are planning a dedicated Welsh helpline in the near future.

We can be accessed through the website www.fnf.org.uk
