A voluntary organisation that has been established since 1995 to support parents/carers of young children. They are based in a Community House in Aberbargoed and can provide a service to families throughout the County Borough.

Montgomeryshire Children & Families Project
This is a multi-agency Sure Start project in Powys which provides parent and child groups, outreach and individual family support.
Barnardo's Marlborough Road Project
This project provides a range of services for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people aged 16 - 21.
Ely Families Project
Barnardo’s Ely Families Project works with parents, carers and children aged 8 to 15-years-old in providing accessible family support services to any family living in Ely or Caerau.
Voices From Care (Cymru)
The service offers one to one support, information, advice and advocacy for parents who have spent time in the looked after system as a child.
LAP (Language and Play) & NAP (Number and Play)
These programmes are run throughout Powys to provide opportunities for parents/carers to share ideas, have fun and make the most of time spent together.
Home-Start Bridgend
Home Start is a voluntary organisation that offers free and confidential support, friendship and practical help to families who have at least one child under the age of five.

Parents and carers in Caerphilly working together to make a difference for themselves and their families, through exchanging information and having a voice in the decisions of local government.
NSPCC North Wales Family Support Services
The North Wales Family Support Service provides interventions to familiess, individuals, children and young people who have experienced trauma including sexual violence or domestic abuse. We also run several group work programmes : Butterflies Right to be Safe Domestic Abuse Programmes including support for women, children and teenagers at risk, The Caring Dads programme and Talking to my Mum.
Cardiff Youth Offending
This project offers parenitng support where young people are known to the Youth Offending Team or where they are at risk of offending. The project also provides parenting support for parents who receive Parenting Orders through the Youth Court. The service has a parenting worker who can offer one to one programmes or group work.
Care for the Family
Care for the Family have been supporting families for over 20 years, the charity aims to strengthen family life and helping those who face family difficulties. Their service also provides seminars, day and weekend conferences, workshops, briefing support, newsletters and resources.
Conwy Family Project
This project works in partnership with Conwy Social Care & Housing Dept to promote positive parenting with individual families and via parenting groups.
Conwy Sure Start
This project provides services and support to families with pre school children (i.e. 4 and under)
Family Contact
To provide a neutral environment for children to meet with estranged parents and/or other family members. To assist and manage conflict between parties whilst handing over children.
