Children in Wales carries out a range of work relating to safeguarding and protecting children.

Child Protection Representation - Children in Wales is represented on both the North and South Wales Child Protection Forums.

Child Protection Training - Children in Wales provides tailor-made introduction to child protection courses for a range of organisations. The child protection training is always tailored to the needs of the organisation concerned but will generally include basic awareness and raising and developing effective policy and procedures in organisations. More information about this and the rest of Children in Wales’ training programme is available in the Training Section of this site.

The group produces and keeps up to date the All Wales Child Protection Procedures
Safety Online
The Child Rights Information Network (CRIN) has compiled a set of online safety resources to protect children from abuse. The resources are for children, parents and guardians, teachers, law-enforcement agencies, Internet Service Providers and all those who work with children.
Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre is part of UK police and is dedicated to protecting children from sexual abuse wherever they may be.
All Wales Child Protection Procedures Review Group
The AWCPPRG is tasked with producing and keeping up to date the All Wales Child Protection Procedures. The group has a mandate and representation from all of the Wales' Local Safeguarding Children Boards and partner agencies. The group also produces other protocols, which are appropriate to an All Wales basis and is a platform for sharing good practice across Wales.
