PASTURES NEW... An Opportunity for the Third Sector to Learn of New Developments in the Field of Children and Young People
PASTURES NEW... An Opportunity for the Third Sector to Learn of New Developments in the Field of Children and Young People

Location: Newport
Date: 22 Feb 2012
Organiser: Children in Wales

Following Children in Wales' Third Sector Conference 'In the Field - Not Out to Graze' held in September 2011, we are now organising four events across Wales (with the support of the Welsh Government) to consider the proposal to rationalise planning and partnerships, 'Single Integrated Plans - Shared Purpose, Shared Delivery' and to update participants on Families First.

It's another crucial time for Third Sector children and family organisations in Wales, therefore, if you are a Manager, Practitioner or Representative why not come along to voice your opinion on how structures and processes are formed for effective collaboration and engagement at all levels.

From the Welsh Government, you'll get to meet:

Huw Maguire - Head of Family Support Branch
Daniel Jones - Head of Partnership Governance and Effectiveness

Dates:

  • 19th January 2012, 1pm to 4pm, Corlan, Mold Business Park, Wrexham Road, Mold, Flintshire
  • 20th January 2012, 9.30am to 12.30pm, The Galeri, Victoria Dock, Caernarfon
  • 20th February 2012, 1pm to 4pm, Felinfoel Community Resource Centre, Llanelli
  • 22nd February 2012, 1 pm to 4pm - Rivermead Community Centre, Rogerstone, Newport

These events are FREE OF CHARGE and there are 35 places available at each.
